Privacy Policy
Helio is a free solar system calculator. This page explains what information we handle when you use heliosolarcalculator.com, and what we don’t do with it.
This is plain-English coverage for a calculator site. It is not a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed policy. Adam / legal should confirm before you treat it as final.
What Helio is (and isn’t)
Helio helps you size a system from your electric bill, see a savings ballpark, and compare cash / loan / lease framing. When you’re ready, you can reach Helio Verified installers through this site — after a real design, not a cold list dump.
Helio is not a lead mill. We don’t buy or sell homeowner blast lists.
Information you may give us
Depending on how you use the site, that can include:
- Calculator inputs — things like usage, bill amount, ZIP or address, roof sketch details, and similar fields needed to size and estimate.
- Contact / inquiry details — if you choose to contact support or request a proposal from a Helio Verified installer (for example name, email, phone, and the design you’re asking about).
- Installer Verified applications — if a company applies to become Helio Verified, the business details they send so we can review the inquiry.
You don’t have to fill a contact form to run the calculator.
How we use it
- To run the calculator and show estimates (not bids).
- To answer support email and Verified-related questions.
- To pass a contact you initiated to the Helio Verified company you chose — so they can respond about your design.
- To operate and improve the site (including fixing bugs and understanding aggregate usage).
We do not sell your information to spam lists. Verified contact is opt-in and company-specific, as described on Helio Verified.
Ads, analytics, and cookies
This site may show ads (including Google AdSense; publisher id ca-pub-9766728427081126 appears on the site). Ads and analytics tools often use cookies or similar tech to measure traffic, remember preferences, or show ads. That can include data collected by third parties under their own policies.
You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site or ads work.
We don’t invent a partner list here. If we add named analytics or ad vendors later, this page should be updated.
Estimates vs. real quotes
Anything Helio shows — size, production, savings shape, cash/loan/lease framing — is an estimate for homework. Final pricing, production, equipment, and contracts come from an installer (and, where relevant, your tax professional). Helio does not claim federal tax credit dollar amounts.
